A 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to book your wedding or session with me. Once this is complete, I reserve your date for you and only you, and turn down any other inquiries that come in for that time.

No, nope, and absolutely not. Asking for a photographer’s raw files is like asking a baker for a half-done cake! Raw images are not a completed work, and many of them won’t make the cut into your final gallery. An important part of my job as your wedding photographer is to sort through all the raw images from your day and select only the very best, so that you don’t have to. After images have been narrowed down, that’s where the other part of the magic happens—editing and post-production. When you hire me, you’re making a choice to trust my artistic judgment in selecting images that tell the story of your day.

It’s important to keep in mind that every session and wedding is unique. However, my rule of thumb is that you can usually expect approximately 75-100 photos per hour of coverage. My promise is to deliver all the best images from your session or wedding.

Turnaround time for lifestyle sessions is approximately 3-4 weeks. You’ll receive sneak peeks within 2-3 days of your session. Weddings are delivered within approximately 12 weeks, depending on the time of year. You’ll receive a sneak peek of your images within 1 week of your wedding day.

Always, always, always! I carry at least two camera bodies, two lenses, two flashes, countless backup batteries and memory cards with me to every wedding and engagement session. This helps ensure I never miss an important moment if equipment fails. Once I return home from a wedding or session, all of my images go through a rigorous backup system to ensure your memories are safe.

I’ve designed all of my wedding collections to include a second shooter because I strongly believe the value outweighs the cost. A second shooter is often necessary for getting ready coverage, capturing your first look, and documenting important little moments that might otherwise be missed on a busy wedding day. Where your lead photographer is focused on capturing the big, key moments of your day, your second shooter is paying attention to guests, hand-holding, secret glances and little details. A second shooter allows for a more efficient day, leaving room for your photographer to get creative!

Most importantly, I like to think of a second shooter as an added layer of insurance that your core memories are protected. They serve as a second set of eyes, and in the event of a camera failure or illness, a second shooter will be there to capture key moments and assist your lead photographer. I encourage couples to take advantage of this option. However, I understand that every wedding is different, and sometimes it might not suit your day. Your wedding coverage is customizable, and we can chat about building a package that works just for you.

Stop right there — there’s no need to worry about where to put your hands when you’re in front of my camera! While I do like to give direction at times, I’m more about offering you natural guidance so you feel like yourself. I’ll offer gentle prompts to get you moving, talking or laughing, so I can capture the little moments in between, and will always advise where to put those hands! I’ve got your back.
